SHIPPING POLICY


General Information

Vintage Wheels In ships most of its products domestically via FedEx Ground, for international we usually ship by Fedex International Economy which takes between 2 and 7 business days. (see section on International shipping below ) You must provide us with a physical address (no PO boxes) when placing your order. We are not responsible for delays incurred after departure from our side. We pack our wheels extremely well and our shipping boxes have been approved by the Fedex testing facility.

Shipping one piece wheels, tires and parts

Most orders are shipped within two business days, assuming that the merchandise is in stock. If your order contains mounted tires and wheels, an extra day or two is normally needed for the mounting and balancing. Merchandise is either shipped from our location in California or drop shipped from a manufacturer or distributor warehouse when possible. In the event of a back-order situation, we will either ship the merchandise directly from the factory or notify you of the delay.

Shipping custom and two piece wheels

Custom and two piece wheels are not usually in stock and are built to order. The built time quoted on the web site is a guide only and the build time can be longer or shorter. We will relay the build time to the customer within 48 hours of the order.

International shipping

Vintage Wheels specializes in export shipping worldwide ,we have excellent shipping rates with both DB Schenker and Fedex. Please note for on line orders Fedex options will be offered through the shipping estimator .If your order is over 100lb in weight and wish to receive an alternative quote from DB Schenker please email to vintagewheel@live.com. Plus Fedex offer shipping specials from time to time so please contact us to see if we can improve the on line rate. Please note all export orders are shipped free on any US taxes and duties but the recipient (customer) will be responsible for paying the country of destination taxes and any import duty. Import duty is usually less than 5 % in Europe and many other countries ,the onus is on the customer to research the duties in their country before ordering . For Australia we provide the AUSFTA papers if applicable upon request.

Damaged or Lost Packages

If your shipment has arrived damaged, you need to make a note on the shippers delivery document before you sign for delivery. Then contact Vintage Wheels Inc Customer Service (888 339 7572) or email vintagewheel@live.com immediately to report the damage. If you take longer than 48 hours to report the damage, the shipping company will not accept responsibility for any damages. In the event your items arrive damaged, please have all packaging material for inspection and be prepared for the carrier to inspect and pick up the damaged merchandise. Merchandise must be completely repackaged in the original packing for return. Very rarely items are damaged yet there is no evident damage on the packing box , even though we pack our goods extremely well extremely rough handling can occasionally result in damage.

The customer should therefore unpack all of the items asap after receipt and inspect.

RETURN POLICY


Wheels two piece and custom.

Please note that custom or assembled 2 piece wheels built to customer provided specifications are not returnable, but if you have measured incorrectly we can modify the wheel for an additional fee. Customers are advised to visit the "tech info" section on our web site before ordering wheels and should contact us on 619 952 4717 if further assistance is required.

If wheels are incorrect due to our mistake then the wheels will be re worked at no cost to the customer.

Wheels one piece

A restocking fee of 20% will apply on unmounted one piece wheels ,prior approval must be requested before returns and this must be within 30 days from original purchase. If wheels are incorrect due to our mistake the wheels will be exchanged for the correct ones at no cost to the customer.

Tires

There are no returns on tires that have been mounted on wheels ,unmounted tires can be returned within 30 days from purchase subject to prior approval ,a 20% restocking fee will apply.

Parts

Unused parts in original packing may be returned and are subject to restocking fee of 20% ,prior approval must be requested before returns and this must be within 30 days from original purchase.
