407 and 427 SHELBY® 5 LUG

SHELBY officially licensed 427 and 407 series are our top selling wheels - perfect USA built options for your Cobra, GT40 and Mustang build. Both wheels are available in a various diameters and two piece construction allows for a large range of backspace options in 1/8 increments. The 407 and 427 series are similar in appearance - the differences are as follows: 1) 427 series are built with 'step lip' outer rims for that classic look , the 407 is built with 'soft look' outer rim for a pro touring look. 2) 427 sizes are 15,17 and 18 inch diameter , 407 sizes are 17, 18 and 20 inch diameter. 3) stock center color is gunmetal gray for the 427 and the 407 - fully polished, custom colors at extra cost. 4) valves holes are drilled in the outer rim on the 427 and the drop center facing outwards in the 407. 5) the 407 can be built with higher positive offset (large backspace) so this wheel works better on the newer Mustangs.
